I was born an atheist; along the way people told me there was a God so I sang about him in school assembly, not really knowing who I was singing about. Apparently he was a kind person, but i&#039;d never met him so it was pretty difficult to tell.
At the age of about 17, I heard a word which best described my complete lack of belief in this bloke in the sky who watches over us all; this word was &quot;atheist&quot;.

Though even to this day, I much prefer the term &quot;Doesn&#039;t believe in a god&quot; as it&#039;s less of a categorisation or label.</description>
